After a day’s fishing enjoy an evening meal at the Anglers Rest which is a short walk from the lake. Excellent facilities comprising of social area with pool table and dart board, dining area, toilet, and shower. Outside a large decking area where you can enjoy the tranquil and picturesque surroundings with a beer in your hand.
For those anglers wishing for a little more comfort or bringing along a non-angler you can enjoy a stay in the lake side caravan situated at Swim 1. Outside the caravan you can enjoy the outdoor seating area which you are easily able to fish from as it is just a few steps away from the lake. (Caravan hire price can be found on Packages Page)
Adjacent to the toilet, shower and kitchen the Anglers Rest decked area provides a relaxing place to enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine (or two) and a freshly cooked homemade dinner each evening and has ample seating, hammocks and a large shaded area to give you respite from what can be a very hot sun during the high summer. The toilet & shower is accessible 24 hours a day and any angler found to be using any other part of the fishery as a toilet will be asked to leave the fishery with immediate effect and without refund.
The legendary Etang Rouge BBQ is also cooked and served at the Anglers Rest, which always goes down well with our guests on Thursday evenings; a wide choice of local produce and fantastic meats including steak, pork, duck and chicken, served with a big salad, fresh baguettes, cold beer and local wine. The fishery can supply cases of beer, wine and soft drinks upon request but anglers are asked to drink to their limits and rowdy anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated – any anglers not able to follow this request may be asked to leave the fishery with immediate effect and without refund.
A selection of terminal tackle, line, batteries and other useful items are also available for anglers to buy, ensuring you have everything needed for a successful visit.
