After two days high temperatures and high pressure resulting in one missed drop back, Marvin nails The Splitter at 53lb with the weather having changed to overcast skies and 18 degrees. Not only was this his first French carp fishing trip to Etang Rouge, it was also Marvins first carp fishing session for over 25 years after he moved from the UK to Los Angeles. As you can see from Marvins face, he was over the moon to have added nearly 20lbs to his previous PB as well as joining the ‘Fifty Club’ with this stunning big Mirror Carp aka ‘The Splitter’ on his Carp Fishing Trip to Etang Rouge.
