3 sheepy hookers middle April trip.
We flew into Limoges airport meet by Jeff (owner) taken to venue about 40 minutes drive. When we arrived all 3 of us were very impressed with the setup, we hired everything and I must say from our fishing line to the bivvy was perfect. I can highly recommend the sleeping bag!
The lake for the 3 of us was a nice size, we all had some lovely carp in fabulous condition from 29 up to 39 lbs, all achieving our PB . Jeff provided us with walkie-talkies and It didn’t matter what time of day he would come down and look at the condition of the fish that you caught but not interfere , but always ready to assist you. For us 3 it was great because it was our first time in France carp fishing

.We also done the food all-inclusive deal which was spot on , Jeff always checked if what was on the menu for the day suited you. All in all this was amazing trip thank you Jeff an Shan for you hospitality.

Just wanted to give Etang Rouge a massive thank you for the few days of amazing fishing I had. To start with everything I needed was on site from end tackle to rods, reels and amazing quality baits and pellets.I had never tied the German rig until Jeff suggested it, I’m so glad I did !! I ended up with 2 Pb’s, a lovely 40lb mirror followed by a massive fish of 53lb both fish were in fantastic condition and both fought like crazy !
I had a limited amount of time on the bank due to family commitments but Jeff and Shan made me feel like family. The food was fantastic and the fishing lodge was top notch and very chilled.
If you want a great fishing experience where you get the chance to catch a fish of a lifetime, look no further Etang rouge.
