These past weeks have been a bar steward for the fishing and one of the strangest October’s I’ve known over here. The lads have fished hard over recent weeks and deployed every trick in their armouries for very little result, which having spoken to my peers in this game seems to be the same virtually everywhere across France! Hopefully all the freakin naturals in the lake are starting to deplete now and we’ll see some improved catches before the season ends
